Synchronize users and labs in a cluster model,

Post by nnson » Mon Apr 03, 2023 9:32 am

Dear all,

Previously I used 03 servers and installed 03 versions of eve-ng pro (with license). Now that I deploy according to the cluster model, I would like to ask the following:
- How will the synchronization of users and labs created on 03 servers before? (automatic or manual intervention)
- After the license expires, how do I buy a license (02 admin license and 05 license editor) to activate the system?

Sincerely thank you.

Per our cluster model, only master server will have your users database. Merge all users from rest 2 servers can be done only manually.
Also labs need export from server 2-3 and then inmport in master server.

License need on on master server, rest servers are satellites.
Please refer eve pro cookbook chapter 14

Dear Sir,

- According to the cluster model, is it necessary to activate the license for 02 cleaning servers before joining the cluster or just activate the license on the master server?
- Since the database is only on the master server, in 03 servers I want 02 servers as master (can it be done?); what will the active license be?

Thanks.

In the EVE lsuter farm only one server is master and is has a license.
You can not make eve cluster with 3 master servers
