I passed my CCNA back in 2020 and currently working as a Help Desk Technician which doesn't include anything related to networking. I would like to make my career in networking and Cybersecurity, the real question is should I go for CCNP now or wait to find a new networking job get some experience before attempting the exam? I am the kind of person who needs to schedule the exam for motivation. I already purchase the ENCOR book and BOSON practice exam. I will be out of a job for around 6 months due to personal reasons and I am planning to take an exam during that time. What you guys think should I wait for before I get some networking experience?
Sorry if my question is not clear, My English is not that good.

Re: Should I go for CCNP ENCOR ??
I think it's worthwhile doing ENCOR. I'm about 50% through the study material at the moment (I bought a video course on uDemy). I've been a network engineer for around 10 years mostly using Juniper, but the Cisco learning materials are really good and ENCOR is really not too hard - it's about what I remember CCNA feeling like 15 years ago, although I have a lot of experience fogging up my memory, I suppose.
ENCOR + one of the specialist exams gets you a CCNP which from the look of the job listings I see is a pretty valuable cert even in this day and age where traditional networking certs are not really that valuable. I have a Juniper JNCIP-SP already but the ENCOR is more enterprise focused, I'm picking up a few new things as I go.
