Helo Community,
I am new here and I have a problem.
I know that this topic is already known that HSRP IP cannot be pinged on Cisco IOL / IOU images. That is a bug.
Unfortunately I don't know if this bug has been fixed in certain versions. Do you know an image where this problem is solved.
I use the following version:
L2-ADVENTERPRISE-M-15.1-20140814.bin
Can someone help me please?
Thank you.

Also in this tread @gaudixit sugested using "standby use-bia" IOS interface configuration command to avoid problem with drop packet that use Virtual MAC address with default security option with switching frames in virtualization (vmware, kvm, gns, etc).
It allows succecsfull ping VIP with BIA MAC address with default security options on vswitch or port group or virtualization in linux.
