Hi all,
someone has already done an Anycast GRE simulation lab ? I wish to create one to simulate how Anti-ddos cloud vendors do it (Cloudflare, Akamai...).
Any ideas will be appreciated.

Re: Anycast GRE
Sorry,
I have no idea but would you be able to describe at high level what you would like to do?
Gio

Re: Anycast GRE
Hi Gio,
anti-ddos vendor as Akamai or Cloudflare and others sell a solution in which your prefixes are protected always by their cloud. When traffic flow from Internet, before to reach your router, it flows through the vendor cloud to be inspected and then it is encapsultaed in GRE toward your router. This is simple and clear...but they use a solution they call anycast GRE in which all their devices (servers and routers) are able to send traffic to your router using GRE tunnel and spoofing the addresses with which your router has done the gre tunnel.
What I wish do is replicate this solution in a little scenario.
Thank you
Ale
