Re: EVE Installation ESXi
Hi UD , when i tried to create Cisco CSR1000V , I had below error and the installation couldn't complete . Seems that " custom memory allocation vtable not supported" is the killer here .
root@eve-ng:~/tmp# /opt/qemu-2.2.0/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 -nographic -drive fil e=virtioa.qcow2,if=virtio,bus=0,unit=0,cache=none -machine type=pc-1.0,accel=kvm -serial mon:stdio -nographic -nodefconfig -nodefaults -rtc base=utc -cdrom csr1 000v-universalk9.16.03.03.iso -boot order=dc -m 3072
(process:23418): GLib-WARNING **: /build/glib2.0-prJhLS/glib2.0-2.48.2/./glib/gm em.c:483: custom memory allocation vtable not supported

csr1000v-universalk9.16.03.03.iso README-OVF.txt
csr1000v-universalk9.16.03.03.mf virtioa.qcow2
Any idea how to solve this ? I had no problem with XR installation

Re: EVE Installation ESXi
I am having the same issue, but with a "qcow2" image that is downloadable directly from Cisco. It appears that they are NOT completely compatible when attempting to use them with EVE-NG. When I boot the image it only shows 2 menu items; CSR1000v - packae conf and Golden Image. Also, the "How Tos" are not always correct either.

Re: EVE Installation ESXi
HI all
I just intalled the esxi 6, the issue is when I create a lab and I connect a router to the cloud0 I get IP but I cant ping the gateway (from the eve I can ping the GW) I create a new lab and I connect a Linux (I create the linux with the eve procedure) to cloud0, but I cant get IP via dhcp and if I put a static IP is not working.
how can I fix this?
thanks.
