Trouble starting Nexus9k for the first time

Post by ncustod » Wed Dec 02, 2020 4:43 pm

I loaded up the newest image of the Nexus9000v from cisco which is 9.3.6. I followed the guide of getting the image into EVE with the proper naming convention of the file and folder. I am able to add the node to my lab but when attempt to start it the node is doesn't want to start up. The 'Stop" symbol changes to a "play" symbol but immediately goes back to the stop symbol. No errors are showing and when I attempt to console the device I'm unable to do so. I thought it might be a memory issue so I change my VM to 16GB of ram and my CPU is at 4. When I load the node I change the setting for the node to reflect 4 CPUs and 16GB of RAM but I'm still having the same problem. I'm not even sure where to start troubleshooting as I can't find any logs. Any ideas?

Update: I decided to load up 7.0.3 code and that works just fine. I'm just going to go with that for now.
