This is more of an FYI, using the iso mentioned in the subject to install an EVE VM will result in an unbootable VM.
Attempting to boot after installation will emit the error message "Volume Group eve-ng-vg not found", and drop into initramfs after some tries.
Also, attaching the root disk as virtio will cause the installation to not find the disk at all.
Using a vanilla 16.04.3 Ubuntu and then following the bare install steps outlined in "http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... re-install" works however.

We observe such issue whit UEFI Bios using large disk ( > 2T )
Could you try to install EVE with legacy bios using partition < 2 TO ?
