% PLATFORM-2-SIGNATURE_FAILED on IOL/IOU Image

Hi Community,


I have a question here. I have built a lab with 10x switches. So IOL / IOU Image I use the latest i86bi_LinuxL2-AdvEnterpriseK9-M_152_May_2018.bin.

So far so good.

When I start the nodes, several start correctly and with a few nodes the following error message appears when starting:

% PLATFORM-2-SIGNATURE_FAILED: Image '/i86bi_LinuxL2-AdvEnterpriseK9-M_152_May_2018.bin' failed code signing checks, error 'Failure in opening the file'. Ethernet switching has been disabled to protect against attack.

Unfortunately I don't understand why. Why do some nodes start properly and why do others have problems? License file is ok, otherwise all nodes would not start.

If I then add a few more switches, some of them start normally and some have the same error message.

Can someone help me please?

add this image and start
probably simply need wipe node

I did that too. But as I said, it doesn't always work. If I add new nodes, it may not work for some of them.

It is a bug in the program. GNS3 had exactly the same problem and was fixed about one time ago.

I don't know why that doesn't work properly with EVE NG.

Maybe the developers read this here and update it.

We did it before the GNS3 have it.
Nothing to update mate, because this is working already and Pro and community...
