Currently using the CE version of EVE NG uploaded to a D series VM in Azure.
Having just finished my CCNP Enterprise and AZ-104, wanting to learn python and IaC. My local machines aren't really cutting it for the emulation of things like a NXOS or CSR, so looking to utilize Azure's VM's with a bit more beef.
However, running into a problem with EVE NG CE.... lack of promiscuous support for NICs. I see there is a pro version of EVE NG that has a NAT feature... but not sure if that will work with a setup in Azure.
Anyone else deploying emulation in azure for network engineering and automation that can guide me a little in what direction I should be looking?
My goal is to connect the nodes in EVE NG to the management network (basically just a bridge), VPN from my home network to Azure, and ssh/telnet to my emulated devices.
I've kinda heaped my eggs into the Azure basket (hence posting here), but I
am not opposed to plopping the VM into GCP or AWS IF a promiscuous NIC is available ya dig?
