Making a eve-ng dedicated box, do I have the right hardware?

Before posting something, READ the changelog, WATCH the videos, howto and provide following:
Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

Making a eve-ng dedicated box, do I have the right hardware?

i9-9820x Intel processor

MSI X299 GAMING PRO CARBON AC LGA 2066 Intel X299 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX Mobo

128GB (4x32) 3200 memory

GIGABYTE Radeon RX 5700 XT

I don't think the graphics card is important but I want to run multiple routers including cisco and Juniper routers and firewalls.

Trying to run it on the Ubuntu. Anyone know if I have the right setup? How many routers/switches/FW's can run? Its important because I also need a DMZ and MPLS.

I will assume that you are trying to repurpose a gaming pc for EVE and personal use.

the video card is useless. your CPU has very low number of cores for a big simulation. it does look like that model has VT-X support though.
you will only be able to get away with small simulations, which to me do not justify having a dedicated pc.

If you don't need that PC anymore, you'll get more by selling it and getting a used server with a real virtualization CPU, or pay for the cloud solution.

here is a pinned post with what you need: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=16552
