Hi everyone,
I’m running EVE-NG Community Edition on VMware Workstation, and I’m having an issue with the fixpermissions command. After uploading new images (Cisco IOSv and IOU), the nodes fail to start, so I tried running:
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
However, I keep getting a permission denied error, even when logged in as root. I verified that I’m using the correct credentials and that the filesystem is not mounted as read-only. The VM otherwise seems to be running fine, and disk space is sufficient.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there something specific I should check (filesystem, ownership, or VM configuration) before running fixpermissions? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Fixpermissions command fails with permission denied on EVE-NG VM
You need to enable virtualization in bios and VM, check with kvm-ok command if it's enabled or not.
