System Configuration Dialog Everytime When i Load Start-up Config

Post by Roopaksethi2005 » Mon May 29, 2017 6:24 pm

Hello,

I am getting System Configuration Dialog everytime when i wipe off configuration and loading it with the startup/exported one irrespective of the image used in eve-ng.

Note:-In the startup config i don't have any config for the unused interfaces in the port-group.

Moreover what i observed is when i manually configure all the unused interfaces(in the port-group) with putting no ip address under these unused interfaces in the start-up config then it does not ask for the system configuration dialog.

Also when i use the image 15.4.2T in this scenario (when it is asking for System Configuration Dialog) and i write or save the config then the ipv4 addresses on all the interfaces are lost but this thing i have not observed with 15.4.1T but it do ask for system config dialog when the configuration for all the interfaces in the port-group is not in the startup config irrespective of the image used in eve-ng.

i have tested same config with old web iou it is working there with no problems. But here in eve-ng i have to manually configure and put the command no ip address under all the interfaces (created by portgroups) whether they are being used or not to get rid of system configuration dialog.

All the said things are working ok with old web-iou.
IS it the issue with EVE-NG ?? Please help in this matter.

Regards,
Roopak Sethi
