Question about interfaces staying up/up on EVE-NG

I setup a EVE-NG lab hosted on Azure. Everything seems to be working fine other than the interfaces staying up/up even when nothing is connected to them. I've tried IOU and vIOS images, is this intended or am I doing something wrong? It's not a huge deal but it is kind of annoying. I've tried googling but can't find too much on the issue. Thanks in advance for any help 192.168.0.1 router login 192.168.l.l.

Axure is not supported for EVE
