the PNET0x can't to access other VM on same vlan

Post by hkj0516 » Mon Apr 17, 2017 8:17 am

Hi,
Im create a R1 to connection to 2 different net. it's PNET0 and PNET1. The R1 can ping to External gateway IP via the PNET0.
Image

The R1 can't ping to ACS/WIN2K8 VM via PNET01. But the ACS VM and WIN2K8 VM can ping each other.

anyone have idea about it ?

there is not necessary vSwitch to be bint to physical NIC.
this case if need connect virtual external VM your settings will look like this
My case it is Cloud1 or Pnet1 (old unl name)

I noticed that the VLAN ID is "0". The mean is the VLAN ID is 0 from PNET 1 ~ 9 and pre PNET is pre vswitch, right ?

Very strange. Im setup same config with you. But my EVE can't ping to other VM on the EVE01 vswitch. ONLY use the PNET0 can ping to other VM from EVE note.

Im already reboot the ESXi server. But the problem can't solve. let me reinstall the EVE software. I will keep update.
