Hello,
For my lab, I need a Ubuntu server accessible in console mode. So I downloaded the proposed images, however, in the list I did not find the Linux image Ubuntu server 14.04.4.
So I followed the EVE-NG Pro (I bought the license) Cookbook tutorial. Everything works. The machine starts. I'm able to access the service I installed, but I lack the essential: the console.
I'm on Mac OSX and I use SecureCRT, because Telnet command is no longer allowed on Mac OSX. When I click on the icon, the connection goes up, but nothing is displayed. FYI, I applied the Grub command from point 11 of the website tutorial. Should we play with the QEMU parameters. Remove VGA and put serial instead?
Do you have any idea what my problem is?
Thank you for your help.

Re: Ubuntu Server console doesn't work
no problem at all..
console mode for ubuntu is letnet. be fore you start Ubuntu server, check right click edit mode and which console is set.
by default it is vnc
MAC OSX using chicken vnc.
You can change it to telnet as well, both works.
But the best way is login in the eve with html5 console (main eve login)
try this image
https://mega.nz/#!yl5nRY7J!N9YZkRpUWnIM ... b4OKuxF7fM
root/root
works with vnc or telnet console...

Thank you for your help.
Finally, I found my problem and was able to solve it.
I looked at the HTML5 mode that I hadn't looked at yet and it's really interesting.
