Shutting down the EVE VM always takes about 10 minutes.
I wonder what's taking so long. Is it only me?
I'm using the latest version of EVE as of May 5.
I'm running EVE on ESX-i which has a Core i7-6700K CPU (4.00GHz) and 16GB memory.

Re: shutting down VM takes long
I used to solve the problem using the method described in https://askubuntu.com/questions/615129/ ... -wont-stop.
Now I replace mysql-server with percona-server-server-5.7 to solve the problem.

Re: shutting down VM takes long
Thank you for your tip.
Not sure if I should change SQL software though.
It may affect the future version of EVE.
Maybe I'll just keep it as it is since the VM shuts down after 10 minutes.
