I installed bare metal EVE-NG using Ubuntu.
I installed it referring to the Cookbook, but it says "No IP address on interface eth0"
The Cookbook says to change the interface to eth0 and I followed the instructions.
I want to change the interface again using the nano editor, but as soon as I log in, I go to the EVE-NG screen.
What should I do?
And what is the difference between setting the management IP in EVE-NG and setting the IP in Ubuntu?
No IP address on interface eth0

Re: No IP address on interface eth0
change nic name must be done before eve
and of course update grub..
only then you start install eve when network is ready

Re: No IP address on interface eth0
I realized that I am using two NICs and eth0 is not the NIC I am using. Connecting the LAN cable to another NIC solved the problem.
