Revisit EVE-NG Deployment in AWS

I wanted to circle back to see if there are any developments on deploying EVE-NG in an AWS EC2 virtualized instance? So far, what I'm finding is the answer is still no that it requires a bare metal server. Bare metal on AWS is too expensive for this use (around $100/day) but right now, I am limited to AWS use for multiple reasons.
