After getting help from someone on Reddit, the issue has been solved.
I'm posting this so this might help people in the future.
There was an inconsistency in the naming of the image file.
Renaming the image file from virtioa-002.qcow2 to virtioa.qcow2 solved this!
After that, the machine booted properly.

I agree this was due to my own fault, but maybe it's not a bad idea to put my screenshot in the How To documentation to show exactly whats going wrong.
I'm pretty sure, many new 'beginners' will make this mistake and have no clue why this is happening.
