Note: For EVE-NG Qemu devices mandatory is the first part of foldername : aruba- . After the hyphen (-) you can add any your image version or name. Example for version VMC-8.1.0.0-59206 foldername will be: aruba-VMC-8.1.0.0-59206

Other versions should also be supported following bellow’s procedure.
Upload the downloaded image to the EVE using for example FileZilla or WinSCP. Then login as root using SSH protocol and uncompress it: mkdir abc
cd abc
tar xf ArubaOS_VMC_8.1.0.0_59206.ova
Then convert the disks to the qcow2 format: /opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img convert -f vmdk -O qcow2 ArubaOS_VMC_8.1.0.0_59206-disk1.vmdk hda.qcow2
/opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img convert -f vmdk -O qcow2 ArubaOS_VMC_8.1.0.0_59206-disk2.vmdk hdb.qcow2
Create the folder for HDD image and move it: mkdir -p /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/aruba-VMC-8.1.0.0-59206
mv hda.qcow2 /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/aruba-VMC-8.1.0.0-59206
mv hdb.qcow2 /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/aruba-VMC-8.1.0.0-59206
Clean and fix permissions: cd ..
rm -rf abc
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
Start Node and follow setup |
