Steps below are based on FireboxV_12_6_4.ova preparation, for other image deployment, use proper names respectively. 1. Download Latest Watchguard FireboxV OVF Template image. In this how to is used FireboxV_12_6_4.ova image. https://software.watchguard.com/SoftwareHome 2. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create iage directory: mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4
3. Upload the downloaded OVA image to the newly created folder /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4 using for example FileZilla or WinSCP. 4. Navigate to created folder and extract OVA image, for further use we will need VMDK which is inside OVA. cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4

5. Convert vmdk hdd to the qcow2 format. root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4# /opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img convert -f vmdk -O qcow2 FireboxV_12_6_4_signed-disk1.vmdk hda.qcow2
6. Delete raw OVA files root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4# rm FireboxV*
root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4# ls
hda.qcow2
root@eve-ng:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/watchguard-12.6.4
9. Fix permissions cd
/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
Username and password for newly created image will be admin/readwrite |
