Instructions
NOTE: If you have the EVE Professional v5.0.20 or Community v5.0.19 or earlier, you have to update your EVE templates, and icons.Obtain Kemp template and icon. Please follow the link before you start deploy Kemp Load Master device!  GIT Update for templates, icons and config scripts
Other versions also are supported following bellow’s procedure.

NOTE: For EVE-NG Qemu devices mandatory is the first part of foldername : kemp- . After the hyphen (-) you can add any your image version or name. Example for version 7.2.58.0 device foldername will be: kemp-lm-7.2.58.0.

1. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create image directory on the EVE’s /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu:

mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0
cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0

2. Extract/Unzip the LoadMaster-VLM-KVM-XEN.zip

Unzip downloaded LoadMaster-VLM-KVM-XEN.zip to obtain LoadMaster-VLM-7.2.58.0.21782.RELEASE-Linux-KVM-XEN.disk. You can either use your native host (windows PC), or use EVE cli to unzip Kemp image zip package.
In the example below, LoadMaster-VLM-KVM-XEN.zip is extracted by native PC using unzip tool.

3. Upload the LoadMaster-VLM-7.2.58.0.21782.RELEASE-Linux-KVM-XEN.disk image to the newly created directory using for example FileZilla or WinSCP.

4. Convert disk image it to: virtioa.qcow2

cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0
qemu-img convert -f raw -O qcow2 LoadMaster-VLM-7.2.58.0.21782.RELEASE-Linux-KVM-XEN.disk virtioa.qcow2
root@eve-ng-master:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0# ls
LoadMaster-VLM-7.2.58.0.21782.RELEASE-Linux-KVM-XEN.disk virtioa.qcow2

5. remove source disk image from EVE

root@eve-ng-master:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0# rm LoadMaster-VLM-7.2.58.0.21782.RELEASE-Linux-KVM-XEN.disk
root@eve-ng-master:/opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/kemp-lm-7.2.58.0# ls
virtioa.qcow2

6. Fix permissions:

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions
