NOTE: Even you could be able to run EVE-NG on your system mentioned below, it can have issues with some vendor images, which are NOT under EVE-NG support.
- MAC OSX Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura are not supported
- MAC M1, M2, M3 and other M CPU series are not supported due issues with VM Ware Fusion and nested CPU.
- VM Ware NAS or DAS storages as EVE HDD, please choose local HDD only
- Onedrive or other cloud storages
- MS Hyper-V, issues with nested virtualization
- Installations of the filesystem on different disks. RAID or LVM installations with significantly different drive read/write speeds.
- External disks such as USB/SATA drives, microSD cards or flash drives.
- Wireless NIC on Bare Metal installation.
- Proxmox, it has serious issues with nested virtualization, any glitches or issues are not supported by EVE-NG Team, (Under development) but not officially supported
- Oracle VM Virtual Box, (Under development), but not officially supported
- Azure cloud is not officially supported, (Under development), but not officially supported
- XEN Citrix, it has serious issues with nested virtualization, not officially supported
- AWS cloud is not officially supported due issues with sub-virtualization with custom Linux kernel. It has issues to run Qemu nodes.
- Nutanix, issues with nested virtualization, be careful with Internet and DNS settings with it,
- HW NAS, SAN or DAS is not supported for EVE HDD system, EVE-NG is using only direct attached native HDD
- Other virtual or nested cloud platforms are not officially supported.
